The true spirit of yoga has zero competition or comparison. If you are new to yoga, you are welcome in any of my classes. Just honor your body and do what you are able to do, knowing that each time you return to class you will grow in strength, balance, knowledge and peace. Be patient, let it come slowly. You can control the intensity, by either taking more breaks, or trying more advanced versions of poses. Simply start where your mind and body are at and build from there.
The beauty of yoga is that it is about making it your own and meeting and greeting your body exactly where it is at. I welcome alll levels to my classes. Be sure to wear comfortable workout clothing to class. You might want to go with something slightly fitted as baggy clothes can often get in the way of poses. You’ll also be barefoot. Let the me know that you’re new to yoga. and I will provide modifications of certain poses and help you during class.
